WPTV NBC News: Person hit, killed by train in Riviera Beach

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. – A person was hit and killed by a Florida East Coast Railway train that was traveling southbound Wednesday morning in Riviera Beach.
The pedestrian was hit around 4:30 a.m. just south of West Blue Heron Boulevard, according to police.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Area roads were closed for about three hours but back open by 7:45 a.m.
The victim’s name has not been released.
