WSVN: All Aboard Florida to close train crossings for track installments

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) — Several rail crossings will be closed during the next two weeks as All Aboard Florida will be installing a bypass railroad track.

The new railroad track will allow freight service to continue while All Aboard Florida crews continue to construct a rail station.

Drivers and pedestrians can expect intermittent temporary grade crossing closures at Northwest Fourth Street to until Friday. Beginning Sunday, at 5 a.m., the closures will start at Northwest Sixth Street, until 10 p.m., Friday, June 26.
