TCPalm: 1 injured after car hit by train along Oslo Road in Indian River County

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY— A vehicle was struck by a train Friday morning after driving through the crossing arm, Assistant Fire Chief Cory Richter said.

The crash took place about 9:15 a.m.

One person was transported to a trauma center and another person refused transport, Richter said.

Oslo Road is closed between Old Dixie Highway and U.S.1. while the Florida Highway Patrol investigates the scene.
