The Sun Sentinel: Rail work closing Broward Blvd. in downtown

Broward Boulevard will be closed in downtown Fort Lauderdale for five days starting Wednesday night for work on the planned All Aboard Florida passenger rail service.

The road will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday to about 5 a.m. Monday at the Florida East Coast tracks. The closure will allow workers to install track parallel to the existing track to allow freight service to continue during construction of a passenger station.

Exit east onto Sunrise Boulevard

South on Federal Highway to Broward

From Northbound I-95

Exit east onto Route 84

North on Federal Highway to Broward

West on Broward Boulevard

North on Northeast Third Avenue

West on Sistrunk Boulevard

South on Northwest Seventh Avenue to Broward

Approaching from the West (Option 1)

East on Broward Boulevard

North on Northwest Seventh Avenue

East on Sistrunk Boulevard

South on Northeast Third Avenue to Broward

Approaching from the West (Option 2)
