Brightline goes from confetti to fatality in one day

I rode Brightline from West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale — and back — on Friday morning as part of a media junket.

I returned to The Stuart News and wrote a column Friday afternoon, a column in which I discussed the inevitability of passenger rail service through the Treasure Coast and the need for officials in our region to stop opposing — and start embracing — the Brightline project.
