Martin, Indian River counties seek All Aboard Florida documents

After an 18-month legal prelude filled with hearings, discovery and a volley of legal briefs, Martin and Indian River counties are impatient to get their All Aboard Florida lawsuit underway in earnest. But they can't if the defendants — All Aboard Florida and the U.S. Department of Transportation — continue to delay the case, the counties said in court documents last week.
The defendants need to stop stalling — last week they asked for another month to respond to the counties' complaint, the first document filed nearly 18 months ago — because every delay represents another opportunity for All Aboard Florida to sell the $1.85 billion of private activity bonds at the heart of this lawsuit, the counties said in documents filed in U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C....
