The Federal Railroad Administration held an informational meeting at the Civic Center last night.

Several groups set up a booths to answer questions from the public.

Not everyone who attended was excited about the project.

“I am against the train for the reason that it is going to be so detrimental to this area and our way of life,” said Terri Ullrich, who is against the project.

The trains wouldn’t make any stops on the Treasure Coast, but the project is expected to connect Orlando to Miami.
