WPBF ABC 25 News: Hearing scheduled for All Aboard Florida’s tax exempt bonds

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. —A public hearing on All Aboard Florida’s request for $1.7 billion in tax exempt bonds has been scheduled for this month.

The hearing will take place on April 20 in Tallahassee.

The meeting is required by the Tax Equity and Fiscal Responsibility Act when private activity bonds are being considered.

Indian River County is suing to keep the high-speed rail plan from collecting the $1.7 billion in tax exempt bonds.
