WHAT'S IN A NAME?: All Aboard Florida has a new name — Brightline — and will be using brightly colored trains when it begins ferrying passengers between Miami and Orlando by late 2017.
Company President Michael Reininger announced the changes at a recent news conference in Miami.
Many Treasure Coast residents opposed to the project don't care what the name is or that the trains will be orange, green, red, blue and pink — behind yellow locomotives.
With no stops in our region, Brightline trains will be little more than brightly colored interruptions for motorists at rail crossings.
