Posted on May 6, 2015
During today’s meeting of the Palm Beach County Commission, Priscilla Taylor is expected to call for the establishment of a citizen review board to oversee police activities.
The commissioner’s call comes after a series of stories in The Palm Beach Post raised questions about how police handle shootings.
In addition to discussion about a review board, some area residents are expected to raise safety concerns about All Aboard Florida’s planned passenger rail service from Miami to Orlando.
Today’s meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the sixth-floor commission chambers of the Palm Beach County government center located at 301 N. Olive Avenue in West Palm Beach.
