CARE FL & MARTIN COUNTY OFFICALS TO HIGHLIGHT NEGATIVE IMPACT OF AAF PROJECT ON SCHOOL TRAFFIC & STUDENT SAFETY
STUART, FL – Citizens Against Rail Expansion (CARE FL), Martin County School District Superintendent Laurie Gaylord, Martin County Commissioner John Haddox and Martin County Sheriff William Snyder to hold a press conference, Thursday, May 14 at 9:00 a.m. at the Martin County Fairgrounds.
Leaders and public safety experts will detail the many negative impacts that the proposed AAF rail project would have on children, including: school bus safety, traffic congestion and pedestrian safety – a critical issue for students who walk and bike to school each day.
Also attending the event will be Rep. MaryLynn Magar, as well as other elected leaders and concerned members of the community.
